1. Services
Coastal Connex provides passenger transport services including, but not limited to:
Airport and cruise transfers
Private transfers
Group and event transport
Coastal and winery tours
Wheelchair-accessible transport
NDIS and medical-related transport
All services are provided subject to vehicle availability and confirmation.
2. Bookings & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Coastal Connex.
Booking requests may be made via phone, email, or online enquiry forms.
A booking is not confirmed until acknowledged by us.
Accurate pick-up, drop-off, date, time, and passenger details must be provided at the time of booking.
3. Pricing & Payments
Prices are quoted based on distance, time, service type, and specific requirements.
All prices will be confirmed prior to service.
Payment methods and timing will be advised at booking.
Additional charges may apply for extended waiting times, additional stops, or changes to the original booking.
4. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations or changes should be made as early as possible.
Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee.
Coastal Connex reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, including vehicle issues, weather conditions, or safety concerns.
5. Waiting Time
A reasonable waiting period is included in airport and standard pick-ups.
Additional waiting time may incur extra charges.
Passengers are responsible for being ready at the agreed pick-up time.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers must:
Wear seatbelts at all times where fitted
Follow driver instructions for safety
Treat the driver and vehicle with respect
Not consume alcohol or illegal substances in the vehicle
Not smoke or vape in the vehicle
Passengers may be held responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle.
7. Wheelchair Accessible Transport
Wheelchair-accessible bookings must be advised at the time of booking.
Wheelchairs must be suitable for vehicle restraints.
Coastal Connex is not responsible for mechanical faults of personal mobility equipment.
Drivers will ensure wheelchairs are secured correctly prior to travel.
8. Safety & Conduct
Coastal Connex reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a trip if passenger behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or illegal.
Safety of passengers, drivers, and the public is our highest priority.
9. Delays & Liability
While every effort is made to provide timely service, Coastal Connex is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, accidents, weather, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control.
We are not liable for missed flights, appointments, or connections due to such delays.
10. Personal Property
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.
Coastal Connex is not liable for lost or damaged items left in the vehicle, although reasonable efforts will be made to assist with recovery.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Act.
12. Changes to Terms
Coastal Connex reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
